CALL FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST

Panel of Musician Tutors

PEACEPLUS Collaborative Music and Arts Programme

Application Deadline: 31st October 2026

  • INTRODUCTION AND INVITATION TO APPLY

Capacity Ireland invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced musicians to join a Panel of Musician Tutors supporting collaborative music-making across County Louth and cross-border communities between November 2026 and October 2027.

This is an exciting opportunity for musicians who are passionate about working collaboratively with people of different ages, backgrounds and experiences, using music as a way to build relationships, encourage creative expression and strengthen connections between communities.

  • ABOUT THE PROGRAMME

The programme comprises two strands of collaborative music-making:

Community-based music programmes: Working with groups across County Louth and cross-border communities, including Active Retirement Groups, Women’s Groups, LGBTQIA+ communities, migrant communities, youth groups and members of the Traveller community.

Post-primary schools programme: Potential opportunities to work across seven post-primary schools with Transition Year students. Musician tutors will work alongside programme leads and invited composers and writers to support collaborative music-making activities.
